A true, local charity, Notch relies on the support of our hardworking volunteer teams to accept donations, sort and supply our little op shop at the Notch centre. If you love a bargain, or fossicking through a rack of clothes hunting for hidden gems, then the Top Notch Op Shop is for you!
Think traditional op shop (& traditional prices), allow enough time to hunt through the racks for the many treasures you’re sure to find.
Or head out to the courtyard for some gardening fun and bag a bargain from our ever-changing supply of locally grown plants.
Local Makers Range: There is one special rack in the shop that you must come and see, reserved only for locally handmade items. Need a gift? Save yourself a trip to town and check our local makers range first.
You’ll be supporting a local small business and it will be that much more charming as it’s made with love, locally.

Notch are the local neighbourhood centre for the areas from Mount Louisa to Rollingstone. We can provide information, referral and support to the community.

Our friendly team aim to create a place for everybody. As the local hub of connection based in Deeragun, Townsville, Notch host visiting service providers and provide rooms for hire at discounted rates for community and social groups.
Like any good charity, Notch runs on volunteer power and are the truly local charity supporting those in need across our community. We run a variety of community-based services and programs, targeted in response to ongoing and emerging community needs.
